My bet will be a bit of javascript on your proxied page causing the loading to stall.

Consider removing any ads from those pages one by one to see which one is causing the problem.

FYI,they are merged with a new hosting company.
So now they are in process on transferring all their client to the new hosting company server.
You can get the latest info about the matter as complained by major DP member under web hosting section.

Well my server has been down for 36 hours and I'm paying $70 a month. I would understand an hour or two of downtime but I haven't even had a concrete response, just 'We will get back to you'...

Leaving the proxy biz because it's not worth it any more.

I can understand your frustration, but not the decision that followed. Move to a better and stable host & see proxy biz worth or not ;)

    Hey nessie,

It's not just a decision of now - I've been struggling to earn in proxies and I've realised that by putting the same amount of work into developing quality sites, I'd probably have more to show for it. I may still reconsider my decision but for the moment I'm still working on having my server back up.

    Anyway, merry christmas, everyone!

So Korrupt, have you stopped with proxies? I see you advertise PrivateTunnel.com in your sig, have you come back to proxies? I think I'd find it very hard to stop but I don't think I've got a choice. BTW my server has been down for nearly 48 hours now.

Merry Christmas everyone! :D Proxies will be back and doing great after the new year I suppose. Dont give up, my advice, look into Myspace and Facebook and see how you can utilise them to bring you insane amount of traffic. There are literally tons of myspace/facebook/bebo users out there waiting to use your proxies.

    Have a Happy Holidays!

How to "look" into Myspace/Facebook/Bebo ? I doubt proxies are doing great... i own now 50 fresh proxies not able to make 2 $ / day ... by half probably is my fault but how many 1,000 + domains i must buy to make 5-10 $ ? probably 5,000 domains to make 5 $ with a horrible 0,06 eCPM !!! , only USA, UK, Australia, Canada and EU traffic allowed.

Proxy owners always remember: not the quantity counts, but the quality! Avoid having 50 proxies in a network.... a few will do the trick if you promote them properly. Do not give up. Proxies are like barber shops - they will never get out of business.

    Merry Christmas!

Well ...the proxy lists don't send enough traffic to make serious money, Yahoo/Google groups are useless, spammed or left without active users.

Try yahoo answers, any forums you can find, try paid advertising, etc. There are still active proxy groups out there. I don't think someone will get rich from proxies btw, but you can surely make some spending cash.
