Did you let the domain expire? It would help if you put the full explanation of what happened instead of posting 1 liners.

Ok. It sounds like domainsbyproxy.com dropped the privacy from that domain, because someone complained about something. Could be either a spam complaint or more likely a trademark dispute.

"The Simpsons" is a trademarked name... as such you are not legally permitted to register a domain with "the simpsons" in a domain name when it is used in reference to something on TV.

In cases like that it is best not to register domains like that. Likely what will eventually happen is you will lose that domain, as your registrar or ICANN or the owners of "the simpons" franchise which would be FOX and possibly Matt Groenig, will force you to release the domain to them since it is a violtion of that Trademark.

In addition the content of your site likely in violation of copyright laws as the content is copyrighted by FOX and the creators of "The Simpsons".

Your best bet is to start migrating that traffic into something else before you lose it altogether. You might want to start the process of letting your users know the domain name is changing, and there will be site changes made.

As of right now the domain is still yours... but you better take swift action to move traffic from that site to a new domain name. In the end it may not be the domain that is the problem, it may be the content of the site that is the problem.

Your old domain is being taken because it is trademark infringement.

You new domains content is likely to be subject of a trademark and copyright lawsuit. You can't use the Simpson characters, you can't link to or display clips. I would suggest finding something else that doesn't violate copyrights and trademarks unless you want to risk paying a large legal settlement and attorney fees - or, in the event you don't have any money, having a judgment follow you and running your credit.

I have to agree with that one. If you get one spam complaint at GoDaddy, then you have 48 hours to respond to it. The options being pay a $199 fee and move your domain elsehwere. GoDaddy is ruthless. Better off having domains at NameCheap.

I'd advice you to move to some other registrar. Same thing happened to me a few months earlier, I was hosting with godaddy and they took back my domain returning my money back.

Now am with name.com without having any problems.

Which, unfortunately, can't be done if the registrar locks the domain name
upon receipt of the UDRP notice. And it's part of what's agreed upon in your
    registration agreement.

As to the OP, unless you intend to fight the complainant, you can learn from
    this experience and move along.

    Godaddy = spamy, upselers, slow
Namecheap = fast, friendly + they gave me 2 .com domains for free, (Christmas Givaway)

Its so hard to choose the right place for your domains...
    Dilema ...

I tried but never could respond to the questions quick enough. I believe people were just waiting til the clock hit on the hour so they could respond lickety split. It always showed up 2 minutes after the fact on my twitter feed.

If you know the domain is going to be taken then why waste your time trying to fight it? Spend the time developing a quality website that doesnt infringe on a trademark.
