By typing the url of dp in the search box of google trends for websites, I was surprised to see that dp is visited more in India than US. You can see it at http://trends.google.com/websites?q=digitalpoint.com&geo=all&date=all&sort=0
This trend shows that ho many time keyword "digitalpoint.com" is search in google. It can't give you info about visitors. check alexa for this
So many Indians can write English. Alexa shows most visitors are from USA and India next, it is about %35/%35
It's true. Indian people can work at low rates which the Americans can't afford to do so. And also their english is more or less the same, so i guess they are more in demand
I would venture more towards the less side of that give me a phone call any day with an Indian that you can't tell is Indian
I'm talking about the writing sphere of English I know it's your native language, but remember- English is India's official language(along with Hindi) P.S. We indians definitely need to improve our speaking skills
The writing is what he was talking about.. and yeah i do agree that you can very easily figure out a Indian by the way he speaks.
He is not talking about the accent, but of the written english, grammar, spellings etc. I have personally found many English/American/European teenagers to have worse grammar/spellings than Indians Ishan
Quite true, but to be fair, the majority of Americans/Brits can't speak a word of Hindi Let's just be glad it's not the other way around eh?
