Where are the human rights groups?
Hamas has recently passed a radical Islamic bill ushering whipping, dismembering and execution as standard punitive action into the Gaza penal code, the London-based Arabic-language newspaper al-Hayat reported Wednesday.
According to the report, the bill passed its second reading in the Gaza Parliament, by unanimous majority of three – the only three members of parliament who were present at the meeting.
The bill is made up of 214 subsections.

    Section 59 states that
A similar fate awaits anyone found guilty of the following:
Section 84 stipulates that anyone found guilty of
The whip will be used on anyone
The bill also calls for dismembering – mostly of the hands – of anyone convicted of theft.

This is what the Palestinians want. And they want it for Israel, too.

I guess no wine for Christmas for those in Palestine. What a pity especially red wine prove to be beneficial to the heart. But I guess the heart can wait as 40 lashes is kinda painful for the skin......

This bill was not passed, but introduced. Hamas denies all allegations that such bill even existed or introduced. Only the newspaper "Hayat" claimed such actions with no proof.

The first two "hypothetical" regulations are infact a standardized regulation found in all constitutions around the world. As a matter of fact, I do not know any country who will not punish treason by death.

As a Muslim majority with Christian Minority state I do not see how the laws of public drinking or Lottery will be enforced, unless excepted by the Christian Minority.

    Peace,

Here in the US, most states have laws against Public Drinking as well (its just not enforced).

I am pretty sure that Israel also has some type of regulations against Public Drinking, prove me wrong.

The only law that Israel doesn't have at the moment is Anti-Lottery regulations.

    Peace,
