Email validator needed badly...help!

I have a pretty large subscription list i mail to once a month, about 120,000. However, as time goes, emails become invalid as people change them, etc, and it's really stressing my server, all the bouncebacks, that is.

what email validation software can i run a list that big through, and have it come back with just the valid emails?

Isn't this a question best asked to the services who provide this software?

You need to to suppress all the hard bounces you are getting into the server software you are using each time to mail. That's the easy story.

Everyone's system is always different but if your not using suppression files / database etc then you need to get on it allows the server to handle the hard bounces one time each mailing not to have to do it each time.

ok, i mean if i run the list through an email validator, it will eliminate the majority of the invalid emails, no? i actually tried to buy two, but the websites weren't even working right, so i couldn't check out...then another was $135, which i didn't want to spend.

If your already mailing to all the ISP's it would be much easier to just check the hard bounces? and remove those from your list? Any type of software or website using some random script it not going to do anything because of a ton of factors you can't control.

    A. did the email get rejected because of a blacklist on domain or ip
    b. what was the error message that caused the scrub
    c. was the message just black holed
    d. did my list get jacked and I got some bogus report?

There are ton's of other reasons but those are the quick ones.
