Any ideas for helping with my blog www.section8facts.com ? I am marketing towards low income individuals looking for government subsidized Section 8 rent.

1. What could work for that? ring tones? govt.grant websites? apartment rentals?

2. I also offer an ebook for the state of virginia... Can you do both ebooks and affiliate links on the same site or is that too much?

3. Is email address collection essential to any site even if you are what you are ultimately going to do with the addresses?

I feel my content is informative and legitimate.

You have informational site and ppc (like adsense) would most likely work great with your site. Collecting emails is always a good idea. Maybe you should write short report or ebook with tips about subject that you have on site. Give it away and collect emails. When you'll find some product that could interest them you send them email.

 

You really need to change from the default wordpress theme first.

I think you are on the right track. I took a look at you site. I do think that if you want to market any kind of ebook or affiliate link you will need to have some way to collect emails. You can use feedburner for a free way to collect emails. They offer a widget that you can put on your site. To get the emails from people give them your ebook for free if they sign up for your newsletter. Great content. Just keep up on the content.
