I applied for adsense on my blogger blog. I was declined for not having unique content and doesnt add quality or something to that effect. First question(2 parts) Can this have anything to do with the people who have been stealing content from me? What can I do to get approved to meet their guidelines? Second Question: I have 2 affiliate links and one link to another blog. Can this have an effect on me getting approved? Thanks in advance.
First question(2 parts) Can this have anything to do with the people who have been stealing content from me? What can I do to get approved to meet their guidelines? From an article on your site, copy 10-20 words in a line and paste the line to Google search box, put " " around it then search, Google will show you results of sites that have duplicate contents as your. (Or simple go to copyscape.com) To get approved and meet their guidelines, you need to read Adsense guidelines first and meet their requirements. Second Question: I have 2 affiliate links and one link to another blog. Can this have an effect on me getting approved? No, not at all. Link out to 1/2 sites is not a problem. When you are ready, apply with Adsense again.
d35i9n Thanks for the help. But What do you mean main account? Do you mean a different blog with blogger? Thanks cheapez. But I already know you has stolen my content. I had blog at blogcatolog then some idiot took copied content word for word from my site. I have the url and everything.... I'll still checkout copyscape though...THanks...
There are bunch of sites that scrapped other sites contents automatically. But Google has the system intact to combat this. No, you dont have to worry, providing you are the author of your content and it is first published in your site.
quality content is not just unique content it also mean if u r using stealen content then use them in a good way. Not jsut copy paste whole data from few websites and get one. About ur 2nd question, i am not sure but seems ur app will be declined.
Most likely somone is using your site to generate a "splot" (spam blog). Either that or you are posting things you find on the internet. Linking to the other sites is a non-issue. Keep blogging and increase the quality of your content and try again.
Ok.. thanks to all for the responses. I just made a new blog and will try and get approved with it. The only problem is that THe blog I want it for was rejected again. I guess I will have to continue trying.. Everything on my site is orignal... Written by me. I'm guessing it has to be the other sites that have copied from me. I really don't care about them copying that much aside from the fact that it's preventing me from getting approved. Well I'll keep you updated when I do. Maybe if I get approved for my other site I can add the site I origanally planned to that adsense account as I understand this is possible? Is that correct?
Well, I think that your affiliate links might be a turn off to them, because they don't want you to make money through other sites, just AdSense .
I'm sure if you read the guidelines carefully, that will clear up a lot of doubts. And no...Affiliate links is not one of the criteria.
If you want to get aproved than do one thing , You can buy 10 to 10 articles or write them yourself than publish them on your blog . After that you can apply for adsense . One guy told me that now adsense is too strict and not approving one or 2 article containing blogs . Because after approval they start spamming and doing bad works .
Ok thanks a lot for all the replies. I actually had 6 post on it and started it in September... I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the money I owe them for Adwords? I'm going to try again with another blog or just use Squidoo for now I guess.. I just had some good content on the one I was trying to get approved for (all my content and all original-except for the fact that someone copied it).
