No only these methods are available for now! you can google for VCC and us bank accounts to get a suitable answer if you dont want to add your real cc and bank acc.
There is really only one way to verify your paypal account and that is in accordance to what Paypal require you to use. If you are from the US, Australia, Germany and the UK, you probably can use a local bank account to verify otherwise you would need to use a credit card to complete the process. There is no other alternative method to use. If you do not have a credit card then go to your local bank and go apply for one because you most definitely need one in order to make purchases online. The only true method of online buying is by using a credit card. It has been like that and it probably would be like that for the foreseeable future. It does not matter if you do not want to spend anything and all you want is to receive money, you need a credit card.
If you do not have a Credit card then you can buy a Prepaid debit card and verify paypal. If not then get a MasterDebit Card from Reviewme.com and load funds and then verify paypal... But remember that in case you account gets limited you are of nowhere. Because neither Payoneer will provide you with Statement nor Review Me. So apply for a credit card or an add-on card if anyone in your family does have one..
We wouldn't recommend to use a VCC, PayPal does limit most accounts in no time. Rather make sure you have either a bank account or credit card in your real name, so you won't lose your money. You CAN verify a PayPal account without a credit card by attaching a bank-account using direct debit (though you'd better be sure you have a good password!). But it seems that LL won't accept this as verification, it only accepts PayPal accounts with credit cards, which kind of defeats the main purpose in using PayPal instead of going direct. Even allowing people to send in checks or make bank-transfers for a small amount could be very useful, slower perhaps but slower is better than nothing. All the best................
For Indians, there is just one legitimate way to get Paypal a/c. verified and that is using Credit Card. I wish they allowed other options like local bank accounts or at least a debit card...
I just found a very good way to verify using VCC in pinoymoneytalk.com and a fellow member is now processing my verification... would only take less than 24 hour!!
VCCs will get your account limited in no time. The only clean way to do it is with your own bank and credit card. We do have a UK package in order to do such which is very popular under Indians.
What are cards meant for?- Verification. Do VCC's serve that purpose?- No. It will be better for you in the long run if you use your own card/bank account to verify your account.
I think the payoneer card works pretty well with the paypal verification. You can get a payoneer card easily from getafreelancers, but must have a balance sufficient for the paypal verification its about 1.6 $ I guess.
Can anyone tell me why VCC is not a good idea? 1. You got your paypal verified 2. You can buy dedi using virtual card (and hence using several different names). So what's the problem? If you're doing something evil like email spamming, that trick won't help you. However, if you do something only moderately evil, like forum spamming, so what? 1 or 2 complaints and you make another order using a different paypal account and a different card.
PayPal will lock your account in no time, since they rapidly block most accounts that got verification in that fashion.
