Google Backlinks VS Yahoo Inlinks

    I have a site that shows tons of links in yahoo, but google has only picked up two of them, this site has been online since 2004..

    Can anyone help explain why this is? And if it's possible to get those inlinks in yahoo into google?

    Here are the stats I am looking at and somewhat confused *sigh*

    Google Backlinks 2
    Yahoo Inlinks 213
    AllTheWeb Links 156
    Altavista Links 157
    Backlinks from .gov site 0
    Backlinks from .edu site 0
    Outbound Links 24 URLs

    google doesn't show all the backlinks. besides, it takes google months to update their backlinks as well. you can use google webmaster tool which will give you better result

    I want to add that google knows about all the links that yahoo knows SO just concentrate on getting more backilnks .

    Its google wish what they want to show you

    To get the accurate number of backlinks use Yahoo.

    Google only accepts quality backlinks while Yahoo shows all the backlinks those are present. Google gives more value to forums and .edu, .gov backlinks.
