Paid Link Removed

    Hello,

I submitted three sites (paid listing) at www.esubmitlinks.com 8 months before and it was accepted after submission. But today I find that my sites are not listed there any more. :( I don't see any reason why the sites removed without any notification. May be the only reason is my sites are also directories and considering my sites as a competitors?

I know a few sites (directories) where I submitted my directories (paid submission) and later they deleted my sites or some sites manually reduced my PR value to 0, so that my listing fall at the end of the page.

So my suggestion is if you submit your site in any directory including my directories, be sure to check often that your site is still there. :(

I think this directory was sold a few months ago. Perhaps the new owner removed it. Have you contacted them?

You must contact the webmaster to clarrify the reason for the removal. A number of my links also got removed from various directories in the last few weeks.

Is there any rule that if directory owner change the new owner can delete paid submission which are already accepted as permanent listing? I bought paid listing in v7n directory, later the owner sold the whole business including v7n directory. My site is still there. Even when you was the owner or zorg directory, I bought few links and my sites didn't remove after ownership change. I think it's not because of new owner but because of some people who wants to earn money unethical way in short time :( The old owner should have some agreement with new owner that he cannot remove the paid submission or paid advertisement.

I already sent an email but no reply yet.

And that's where your wrong, the old owner in a sense has lost control once the sale has been transacted. The new owner then has a moral obligation to honor any existing agreements such as paid links or advertisements or refund the money, in which case this should have been factored into the purchase price. But this is the www and it woks similar to Disneyland at times.

The old story, go with quality established directories and or people who have a good rep.

    Pending Links: 5886
    Todays Links: 69
    Total Articles: 10
    Total Categories: 17

Ive had stuff removed before, even had people let me keep paying by subscription when months ago they removed what i expected to still be in place.

For that i dont even contact the person, i just never use them again, dont want anything to do with people like that.

Unless old owner included this in terms and conditions that paid links on the directory won't be removed, the new directory owner is free to remove links that don't fit his criteria of 'quality links' :)

At the same time, old owner should make a refund on a pro-rata basis if he/she doesn't have control over the directory.

He is right, you can ask for a refund, or re-list your site again
