    1) there isn't much article you could write of your niche

    2) there isn't much forums you could post comments on.

    3) there isn't much social networking to be done.

    Any ideas.

You could also try to submit your site to niche directories.

Well, why don't you be the first one to start the forum?
Stop giving too much excuses, look at the other side of the coin and take advantage of the low competition :)

    I agree with SEOTherapy.

If you're an expert in your niche market and there's little else on the internet for this market, take the bull by the horns :)

With little competition and a lack of other available web resources for the same product / service, you could soon be king of the hill with some good information and content ranking highly in SERPS and PPC if you choose. :)

make a promotional VIDEO with Macromedia flash or just a basic windows slide show.

Submit to all major Video Directories like Youtube, Yahoo Video Daily Motion, etc

Yep, it sounds like a small market and one that might be very profitable for you. I'd recommend PPC too. You might consider providing those things you listed too on your website. Just a thought...

I would use the tried and proven ways. Just write that article, post in forums. Just do it.

What others in this thread are telling you is right. If your niche is unsaturated, use that to your advantage. Become an authority or a reliable source on the subject. Videos and general articles, if they work for your particular field can prove very powerful overtime. Just keep promoting and eventually you'll reach critical mass.

lol What a moron noob thing to say.

geekranger, if you want quality, consistent traffic, you are going to have to advertise regardless. Even if you have all those other avenues at your disposal, they are very weak, next to being useless.

But it is not expensive, and it is not that hard. Do your research in it.
