Redirects Question

I have a question. I have about 20 domain names that all point to my website. I bought them so if i'm speaking to someone on the phone, i can tell them to go to www dot (city name) insurance dot com. So that way if I'm talking to someone in Brooklyn, I'll tell them to go to my brooklyn site, or if they're in Queens, they can go to my Queens site.

They all redirect to my website and have custom descriptions and titles (I set it up through Go Daddy). I am afraid to submit these redirects to any directories though because I've heard that it won't give the ranking to my site, but to the redirect instead.

Any thoughts on this? I don't want to do anything that will harm my original site or ranking.

not good "seo" practice if you are doing it through godaddy which sucks with their redirects... you can just setup doorway pages, with a graphic or text and link up to your main site. that is what i'd do.. good luck

Godaddy has a 301 redirect option... Use it and it will be fine.... If anything you might even get some keyword relivence....
