Suggest me a VPS hosting provider

Hi guyz,
Can you please suggest me a VPS hosting provider?

I had initially zeroed-in on VPSland.com, but I just read terrible reviews about them and so dropped them. Now I am thinking of Lunarpages. They are a bit expensive, but they have really good reviews.

Also, I am from India. I have seen some providers(Eg. 1 and1) restricting their VPS serviced for US and Canda residents. So please suggest one that is available for Indians as well.

Yes check out Liquidweb, Lunarpages, and A2Hosting. I don't believe that they restrict services based on location.

 

Liquidweb are good, i have several systems with them at the current time and they have been the best.

What do you mean by Indian? A company hosted at Indian datacenters or managed by Indians? Looking at your ping times and price, I think you meant the later. But I will still like if you clarify as these high ping times could be caused by the recent cable break!

We may be intersted in Indian datacenters though the cost of bandwidth is outrageous in India.

I assume that your service is expensive may be because of the cost of raw-material(bandwidth/power/etc) in Malaysia. I have observed that many Malaysian hosts(data-centers in MY) are expensive compared to US counterparts with similar or more offerings. So I don't blame you personally for the high prices. Its understandble. But, as I am answerable to my clients who would be *actually* paying for it, I need to find the optimal option for them.
