Probably not really the best place, im not looking for a review Mikey, I am just wondering why a site can go from page 3 to page 6 and assume I need to state my site so people can give me a better idea on the fact.

If you intend to rank well for a certain keyword, then you should concentrate on building backlinks using that as your anchor text

You're asking for advice on SEO for YOUR site and why YOUR site has fallen in rankings. You want people to review YOUR site and explain what you can do to YOUR site to make it rank higher. At the very least it needs to go in SEO not google.

One issue that is going to affect your site is geo-location. Geo-location is an important ranking factor in all of the major search engines. Since you have a generic Top Level Domain Name (ie., a ".com"), Google uses the physical location of the server that hosts your site to determine your geo-location. Since your site is hosted in Texas, Google believes you have a US-based site and so you will be at a disadvantage in country-specific incarnations of Google like google.co.nz even if you don't choose a country-specific search. That's why US-based users are seeing better rankings than you do.

If your target audience is in New Zealand, you should sign up for Google's Webmaster Tools and set the Geographic Target setting to New Zealand. If your focus is more world-wide, then don't worry about this. Good luck!

Ahh okay I figured this may play quite a big role, these are the kinda things I've wanted to know thanks man :)

Not now cheif, I'm in the fuckin zone.

Yeah I do focus more on US rather than specific countries, I want visitors worldwide, I didnt realise google actually gave NZ sites better ranking even when you are doing "Pages from the World" search. I thought it would only change if you selected pages from New Zealand.

Thanks for the advice guys its much appreciated, mikey I understand one day you want to be a moderator or something but keep your pants on bud ;) Seriously does it really affect you at all?

Nah, just trying to save you from future infractions.

Anyway, to prevent myself from looking like a total jerk, here's some bedtime reading from you. Its lengthy but detailed. You're probably more advanced than the audience this is aimed for, but if you tick all the boxes i'm sure we'll get you on your way to page 3 :)
