In the case of webpages its great, informative or entertaining content. Whether you have articles, videos, pics or what nots, people want to see or read what they are searching for. You also establish yourself as an expert when people find your content to be relevant to their search, which makes them come back again and again.

1. Buying advertisment place in website
You can buy advertisement place in websites that belongs to same category as yours, this can sometimes be good way to advertise but it costs. The only bad thing is that the price of advertisment will vary in different websites. Some might takes few bucks and others even $100 or $1000 dollar in month. You can do this same thing with blogs too. Some of the blogs that I have heared are generating 10k in one month for advertising. But it must be very success blog.


2. Advertising using Adwords
One of the best ways to get also targeted traffic and which is also quiet effective is advertising own website by using Adwords. Many of us know how to use it but the question is how to optimze it and getting the best result? Well because this is quiet wide topic I will not go in details but I will give you few tips by using Adwords.
TIP 1. Don't spend much money on advertising in Adwords
TIP 2. Try to find keywords that are related to your website
TIP 3. Try to find at least 300-500 keywords, the more keywords you find that suits your website the better chances to get more targeted visitors.
TIP 4. Don't pick up the most expensive keywords, you will not benefit from them. Only when you have an affiliate market and you know that your products have high conversion rate then you might consider using expensive keywords.
TIP 5. Don't pay for keywords that cost more than $5.
TIP 6. Write your ad title so that it is catchy, you only have couple of seconds to impress the visitor.
TIP 7. When you write ad, try to describe it by using keywords, the search engine will find it more easily.

3. Posting in forums
Now some of marketers have under estimated this method but actually it has been one of the most successful methods to get traffic. The secret lies in signature. Also when you post, don't aim to your post quantity, but rather to your post quality. This means that try to help people with their problems and also show that you really care about them.
