Does google treat edu.(country) the same as regular edu?

    Does google treat links from .edu's with a country extension such as .edu.my or .edu.tr the same as links from a regular .edu?

    I am not completely sure but i am almost positive that it is treated just like any other website. Edu's are edu no matter where they are but i am not %100 sure.
