Well, I have been back for a while, sort of, Just popping in reading, checkout all the news, crying about my former site directory-owners.com going missing. So its time for me to jump back in, So whats been keeping me away? Well, the life of being a student, Studying Info Comms in the Uk takes a lot of time Well, good to be back and now I need to plan my next move Maybe I shall revist my old grounds
Missing for over 2 years, since I sold my last site and gave the account of this forum over to that owner to allow him to manage my contact for the site he took over, Directory-Owners.com - Sad to see it now has fallen. But its good to be back, Good times ahead i am sure, A lot has happened in the last two years, Some good, some bad when it comes to google and the web etc
Well thats my problem I have two ideas in mind, I am not happy with how thw web directory owners forum area has gone, it was not how i planned when I first setup DO, but then had to sell and now its all gone in the wrong direction. Or I can go into a whole new area, Something to do with films and Tv - cannot say too much otherwise it would give it away but its one of those ideas you get when your sleeping So not sure, have to do some research into it all again
niche directories is were the good sites have been as far as directories, at least from what I've seen I have one dir that I've had for years and will never sell it since it's part of a larger site, but we are getting ready to launch some niche directories related to local businesses. I think that's were the future of quality directories ps... your name looks familiar
Probably looks more so on V7n network where I published most of my interviews back when i was fully active in the directory area. I remember it was Info Vac and Directory-Owners that only dealt with web directory owners, but now i look there are loads of different forums. But still, I look at these sites and I feel when vision I had when I setup DO years a go has been lost and its now just another money making resources, which is shame, I want to see quality again, interviews, free templates, quality help and advice without spam.

I wish i did not sell in Jan of 06 I think it was, aftera year up, had to sell but never liked it direction after i left, But thats life I guess. But a little hint, Another, bigger, better forum is growning from the ashes
I have bene asked to point out by wildweb that I did not give him the accoutn here at DP. But I did sell the site in Han 06 and give away the account here on the forumw hich has been used [and now banned] after I left, But I would like to point out that the forum may have veen sold again.
