I want to know, which one is better in which area.

    - Accurately targeted ads,
    - Cost per click
    - Easy of installation and maintenance
    - Flexibility in payment options.
    - Performance Reporting and stats.
    - Flexibility in customizing the visual attributes of ads.

    Please share your experience here.

Adsense is far superior in almost all of them - it isn't even close.

YPN targeting is horrible. Payment per click is lower (can be a lot lower), and CTR is greatly reduced because of poor targeting and much smaller ad inventory.

YPN reporting detail is delayed until the next day. Reporting interface is poor. The customizing of ads is about equal - although adsense has the option for off-site editing of code.

YPN doesn't pay for clicks from outside the US, adsense does.

I think the only thing YPN has that adsense doesn't, is payment by paypal.

Excellent review, almost covers every criteria.

Very true, I would like to have this flexibility with adsense.

Sometimes we get a higher amount for the clicks on YPN, but in general since adsense has more advertisers and better targeting the overall revenue is much higher.

Make a free blog with Blogspot.com on your favorite subject. Write few posts & then apply for adsense.

Today I joined YPN. I'm waiting for their response. Until now I can say that Adsense is better.

    thats not gonna work anymore!
adsense has made its rule more strict.
You need to have a top level domain which is six months old, if you are to be accepted into adsense.....and i believe its a good move by Google.

I'd go with Adsense. YPN isn't all that good unless you're trying to make a quick buck - with untargetted ads.
