Google don't care on everything. I just made a little researches and found out that google is complety ignoring keywords found in some parts of your websites fOR EXAMPLE It' ignoring keywords found out inside < > : Ex: < KEYWORD > = ignored <FONT CLASS=kEYWORD> - IGNORED! META TAGS : complety ignored! however : Ex: <img src="girl.jpg" alt="KEYWORD" > Aceepted! Just check out my website cache at: http://72.14.221.104/search?q=cache...s.com/+site:softgroups.com&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1 if you click View - Page Source: you will find out in the <style> </style> that i got things as : Verdana,etc... Now search google for site:softgroups.com Verdana http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...:en&q=site:softgroups.com+Verdana&btnG=Search see it !? it's not there! wow! let's go on ... still viewing my html code source?! <!-- Start of StatCounter Code --> .... found out this line?! How let's search googe for : site:softgroups.com StatCounter lol , no results.... I got : <META NAME="keywords" CONTENT="free, paid, free php scripts, php scripts, php lessons, php tutorials, php book, php books, Web Development ,Web Programming , Flash Templates, seo, seo tools, seo scripts, professional seo"> searh google for site:softgroups.com book You see? it's ignoring METAGS However keywords in title="" and alt="" are counted, even if you are giving backlinks to others , lol just add <a href="http://microsoft.com" alt=" bluebackdog">Microsoft</a> and you will rank very well for keyword : bluebackdog... So google really care about your out-goings links to !
yuppers... that's because G only uses the TITLE tag and the DESCRIPTIONS tag. from what I know it doesn't reference the KW tags. Obviously it won't index Verdanda just like earching for 'and' or 'for. Same for content tags. Ya know?
heh google is very smart either I added this tag: <digitalpoint alt="redblackdog"></digitalpoint> i was interested if it's considering redblackhot as a keyword! if it like to read alt/title from images/links ........... and then answer is NO Google is not such a loser anymore
Early seach engines including google denpended largely on keywords. But now-a-days most of the search engines analyzes the whole contents of the site. Mis-use of keywords may have even negative results.
