I can understand feeling like it doesn't make sites the most visually appealing, but often times, as has been said in the post, the site is online and able to enhance your surfing experience to provide you the information you want strictly because it has adsense. How great would your surfing experience be if the adsense-based sites you enjoyed most didn't exist?

Additionally, if you're against google's profiting from adsense, clicking on a bunch of ads probably won't hurt Google's revenue. It will just eventually make webmasters smarter to clickfraud and develop more advanced tools to limit its effects.

I think perhaps if you don't like adsense ads, appealing to google, writing your own blog about ads, developing your own ad network alternative, or even just creating sites using other advertising alternatives would likely be more effective ways to go about achieving what you want.

There are so many search engines like Google out there that they wouldn't even be able to create a monopoly even if they wanted to. Google adsense can look good if used correctly and also I found this on your favourite search engine:

    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=Adsense+Haters&meta=

third result down, although it doesn't seem to be working. Maybe someone just saved you some hassel ;)

Supporting someone with a ridiculous (and illegal) idea is probably not the best way to introduce yourself to DP

xD Im sorry but that cracked me up... But anyways... Aparently this kid lacks maturity... Who in their right mind would want to start a "hate" club such as what he's proposing... Its just stupid... also... I have a question for the others in this... if he used the word "google" in his domain... Would google not have the right to shut him down because of infringment?

Wouldn't this be considered larceny through deception?

You are acting like a legitimate customer, but you are planning on just draining advertisers money.

Actually there is little they can do since I have not signed any terms and conditions with google unlike Google adsense owners. What I am saying is that it is not a Law but it is in their terms and conditions. If forexample I signed a contract for surfing the net which said ' I will not Click on Google ads if I am not interested in them', then Yes, they could take action against me but since I haven't signed anything saying that then I am not breaking any rules.

Google can set their own terms and conditions but they cannot set world wide internet Laws.

    Best explanation so far. Thanks.

But I still have to argue that the sites I enjoy the most would still exists if there was no google ads (or text block ads as I call them), just like they existed before google ads was ever started.

OK, but honestly, do you think that Google would not pursue legal action if you created this site and it became well-known?
