While I was searching on Google, I came across some new thing this time :)

I was searching for a keyword "seo" and found that there were three image links next to every single search result on Google.

These three image links were as given below

    a) Promote the listing page [↑]
    b) Move the listing to the bottom [X]
    c) Add a comment on the listing [Comment Cloud]

I would like to know whether Google is converting into a social bookmarking site ?? :D

It looks like Google is too impressed with Social Bookmarking sites :p

Google is (dumb) god. Google knows better than anyone else. Don't tease Google. Anywayz, yeah, they're turning a SE into a piece of (spam) Social Bookmarking site + Adwords...

Manipulating Google via paid links or paid votes... what's the difference?

I don't know if it's just a coincidence but your site is not indexed in Google anymore :D

You can only see the option when you login to your account. That should be the newly introduced SearchWiki function.

I think this feature was not required at all. It will only give an impression of BOOKMARKING SITE with an advance search option

I am unsure whether search data ( comments, X, [↑] ) would be used to manipulate search results, but I am sure that Google has been using these tactics in the past

Anyhow, it will only open new doors of SPAMMING for black hats who will pull down organic listings of their competitors

Those choices are more of personalizing the results than changing the search results. They appear only when you are logged onto your google id. Only the comments that you leave are visible to other users, otherwise, it doesn't affect the search results for other users.
