LOW Clicks - This is pathetic...

Guys, I am getting less and less per click. I use to make $5 a click MINIMUM, now its like $.40 a click maximum :(

I have tested out all of the categories, by targetting the highest categories, and there are NO high paying ads. There use to be at least 2 high paying keywords in each category, now nothing.

Yahoo needs to get its act together or people will go to google or something, even adbrite pays more these days :(

What do you guys think? I think I'm leaving to MSN when they start accepting publishers!

Some pages seem to be showing "revelant" ads which are low paying.

Yahoo implemented a mechanism. It starts to squeeze publishers in favor of advertizers. After all, this is only advertizers who keep this business flowing.

As a non-US resident, I don't have YPN. $0.40 per click is A LOT! Honestly, my Google Adsense clicks are just plain pathetic. Oh well.

I've seen a drop in my RPC by about 75%. Pretty bad.

No it is not if you have been getting $2 clicks to $20 clicks.
If you drop to 40 cents clicks that is not great news...

yup, the yahoo epc is in the toilet for me as well... i'm looking at affiliate marketing as we speak.

it would be nice if yahoo gave us something to target for improvement... too many ads on the page, don't run 'em on pages where the ctr is really low, etc.

Yeah, again, today they suck even more. I think I will be switching to AdSense very very soon. Unfortunetly. FYI: I am a high $XXX's a day publisher, so imagine the impact, when I say my RPC dropped about 75%...

yep it goes up and down... i even had adsense do this to me on one of my sites... seems like both Adsense and Yahoo are both just trying to keep more money in their pockets...

Same here, I make a few hundred a day minimum, but since the summer, all of the advertisers are leaving which makes me get less than $100 a day now, and it use to be close to $500 a day :(

    was - more than $500 a day

    now - less than $100 a day...

    YPN sucks now :(

All the skeptics said it when YPN was first offering the highest payouts per click they had ever seen..It had to happen, eventually. If Yahoo would just start serving up more relevant ads, the CTR would go up and fix this whole problem, at least allowing them to compete with Google down the road.

    Point taken sir.

Anyway, this is coming from someone who doesn't "hedge" with Adwords or Overture campaign. So my advertising cost is zero (my time is still a cost though). $0.40 is good enuff.

I understand some ppl need $2 per clcik because they use $1 to advertise :)

Ok, today is worse (father's day)

I am seeing a 90% drop. I am spending more advertising than what I'm making now. I checked on the overture keyword place, and said I was making $3 a click, but I am only getting $.30 a click!!

    Yahoo.....

YPN getting average about $.48 per click, Adsense around $.20 a click. I use both on a site ( different pages) so you are not hit with ads by Google on every page but make way more with the Google.
