What is widgets? I want to add it.

I want to add widgets to my blog. Can anybody show me simple way to add it to my blogs. But what will be the benefits of adding widgets.

 

What blog are you using? Wordpress, Drupal, blogger?

We need a little more info thanks

The benefits will be easy to install and edit sidebars depending on your blogging system.

I'm using Blogger and Wordpress blog. But I want every widget should be added i.e su,digg,techno etc. So, please help me by replying step by step that how can i add these widgets.

 

Drupal is nt a blogging cms its portal cms

 

Widgets means control , they are elements that display info. which is arrangeable or changeable and ur visitors can intract or work more easily within ur site.

Now if u have some plugins installed like add to subscribers, related posts, e.g (active plugins mode) then go to wp dashboard > themes > widgets tab > and click on add those widgets which u like.

My signature recipe blog is an example of how widgets works.

But I want to add stumble upon widgets and many others but in wordpress there is only delicious widgets. Can you elaborate more deep into it.

 

use "add this" plugin. That should serve the purpose

 

Widgets are simple things that can be added to your sidebar ( customised from your admin panel)

There will be a place for other text in your widgets ( place the code there)

Or simply open up your wordpress files and do a bit of coding/ download a plugin.
