Hey everybody, Just sharing my frustration too. This is my 3rd campaign that I launched. My first made very little money, my second one I didn't try too hard. I built a site and ranked in the top 20 and made a killing! Then over the last couple weeks, I built a site, wrote 50 original articles and submitted it everywhere, made videos, promoted videos, etc... I killed the targeted keywords and have my site in the top 5 on Google with a couple of other links in the top 10 of Google. Unfortunately, nobody is coming to my site, nobody is clicking, and worst of all, nobody is buying. I'm trying to just move onto my next project, but today I'm sitting here completely pulling my hair out! The lesson I learned from this is not to promote a product in the middle of December. I'm pretty sure that's why sales are slow. Anyways, just wanted to vent, share my frustration. I'm going to move onto my new project now...
I got another sale today. That's two this week. I used to get a sale or two every day, then zero sales for several weeks. Are things fixed now? Did I mention that CB sucks?
During the last 2 year CB has grown into a monster marketer, non-responsive, thanks to all the hype about CB profits. Until their revenues decline, they will not change. It is time that a strong competitor joins the info product market, and then they might finally improve their policies and structure. I heard from several noobs, they had 2 or 3 sales, did not reach their required 5 minimum in 6 months, and bang, CB takes your money, little by little....
Hey guys.... 2 sales today and guess what? All Visa cards. Someone needs to tell them that their payment processor must not be accepting anything else, because I find it highly odd that all of my sales have been with Visa cards for the last week.
My last 3 sales were also Visas, but since the beginning of December, I had some Mastercard and Paypals as well...
cleaning, you spend more than 2 years on DP and still didn't learn how to read ? thread about ClickBank, not ClickBooth. p.s. can only imagine your intentions since you want to buy other accounts.
It's attitudes like this that keep Clickbank from cleaning up their act. Too many people think there's no alternative so they don't improve their service.
I agree with what you say. But thats the TRUTH. Its not this attitude that keeps clickbank from cleaning up their act. The reason is the absence of a good CB Rival
I've started my test with Click2Sell and my product is now available for promoting there as well. Right now I've only got the PayPal payment option so I'm trying to add more to give C2S a chance to really do it's thing. I already see one cool thing for affiliates who promote via Click2Sell instead of Clickbank. I set my affiliate % the same for both but for C2S the payout is $34.60 compared to the $31 with CB.
This may be why my clickbank account was miserable during the past few weeks. May be I need to set up a new account and test it out.
I did that with Revenuewire. Needless to say the product has been converting about 4 times better than Clickbank. Which is about what it was converting at with Clickbank a few months before this tracking BS.
How reliable is CB? I've gotten a good amount of sales about 1-2 months ago, I'm still getting good traffic, improved my sales page, and now very few sales. Should I question CBs payment system??
CB is slowly shifting from my main income to a side income. They are really not interested in resolving the main thing that keeps affiliates motivated -- tracking sales properly. It's very frustrating.
