    1. How will adsense know what ads are relevant if it is in a frame?
    2. I think if you put it in a frame on your website is is not against the TOS.

adsense BOt will know if it is in iframe. and when they will check you will be caught..there also a cache screen shot feature of google.. i tell you they are big brother online..:) so be careful..

From what I hear. It is against the TOS

But I have seen a few big sites with adsense + iFrame so I'm not sure.

I suggest you play it safe though.

To be on the safe side I would say that it is and not risk getting banned for life.
However, I did do a ctrl+F on their ToS on iframe and did not find anything
But I'm not sure how their bot works. I'd guess that it wouldnt work since an iframe would be a separate file.
BUT I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT YOU NEED CONTENT ON THAT PAGE TO HAVE ADSENSE ON THERE, SO IF YOU JUST PUT THE CODE IN AN EMPTY FILE AND ADD IT TO AN IFRAME - THEN YES IT IS AGAINST THEIR TOS
