It is not fixed if we say Google will update PR toolbar in the end of the Dec or in the start of Jan, 09. It's only upto Google.
As far as I read this topic the more I understand how people far from SEO. Guys, change your business, pr is only for speculators and for their stuipid customers Very often a link from proper website with PR2 costs 10 times more than link from website PR5 and every one who has been doing seo professionaly know this well.
I experienced a Google dance on the tenth of this month, I was down in the 90s then went back up in the 10s and 20s.
Your rankings change regardless of this. It's just a visible expression, but certainly not the best indicator. Google is purposefully ambiguous on this. It's only important to people selling links on their website, a practice Google condemns (Google allows people to report those buying links, who will receive a well-deserved Google slap). It really isn't the best indicator, I've had a PR5 that got barely any traffic, and a PR3 which got massive traffic. Just worry about your content. As for the updates, they used to be more quarterly, tho I wouldn't be surprised if google starts making them more semi-annual. This past update does seem a bit overdue.
it is depend on various people that how they think about page rank if anyone go for natural way and dont choose any wrong way(black hat seo) to get high pr then it wil be his/her success and succesful result and vise versa. if anyone using wrong way which r abandoned by search engine rules then it will be his /her mistake and this mistake and crime wil be took by search engine,, i dont think getting pr is worthless thing..............by the way there are many sites using black hat seo and getting success,,, even google dont do against them......
