My Goal: To never have a week, where the traffic to my website is less than that of the previous week. http://www.TowerDefenceArcade.com I believe that this simple objective will keep me on target. This is a much better strategy than focusing on income and advertisements, because they are much more volatile. Join me in my mission and post the name of your website and your individual goal. I will post analytics stats if people show enough interest. Wish me luck!
Yes its achievable but its involve a deal of hard work. And you must constantly promote your site everyday to get more traffic. Beside that, you also must add new games coz people will get bored with old games and it will cause them to leave your site
I have been working very hard to keep my website dynamic and interesting. In order to insure a steady increase in traffic I have joined an arcade banner exchange and promoted my arcade in various forums. By looking at my traffic stats I can see that this is slowly paying off. I already have a consistent 60 unique visitors a day as well as $1 a day from adsense. I understand that holidays may screw up "my goal", but besides this i don't have any other excuses.
so i know there are many of you out there who are working hard to increase traffic to your websites..... who wants to join me?
I do a variety of things: -started with search engine optimization (i get a good amount of google hits every day) -stumbleupon reviews -arcade banner exchanging through funklicks.com -leaving the link to my site in forums im trying to find more techniques. anybody have any ideas?
It appears that you're hitting all the right areas to increase traffic. Another technique I've used is submitting articles related to your website/blog to article directories like GoArticles.com and Article99.com (there are plenty out there). This gives you exposure to a whole new audience plus there's a chance that other readers my publish your article (along with your signature link to your site). This can greatly increase your back links. One word of advice though, so that YOU are not penalized for duplicate content, is to submit unique articles to these directories, not ones that you already have on your site. Google, and search engines in general, like original content, not republished stuff. Let the other publisher take the hit, while you collect the back links and potential readers.
Good luck wiht that. I've actually been to your site a few times in the past few days and its kool. Seeing as i love TD games =].
