Will SEO Die?

dont worry seo will die, people do website marketing, right ?

 

SEO does not mean ranking in SE but it means optimization of on and off page factors which I don't think would die.

 

That Personalized searched is base on User Account Info. So it won't be much a big problem it will be like Bookmarking any page in search engine we promote to be up while it wont affect global search engine.

well, the thing is SEO is actually taking advantages of the SERPs. so, SEO specialists might probably have to broaden their horizons... i think it's a good favor for those who does't know SEO and contribute the search engines with their valued contents.

SEO is becoming less important and will continue to do so but will not completely die out. With increased competition and universal search meaning more news and local results etc appearing the return from SEO is diminishing anyway At the same time more and more companies are realising they need it so there's a rise in companies wanting it but a fall in its cost effectiveness. We're in a bubble that will burst eventually when it stops paying companies to use SEO. After that there will still be a need for SEO but far less than curently, it'll either just become part of the development process or part of the advertising process. It will probably cease to exist as a specialism eventually though.

I think 'real' SEO's will live on for a long time...hopefully the 'cheap' SEO's that spam blog comments in poor English and do free directory submissions will wither away.

 

I think SEO is going to have some huge changes in the next year. We will all just have to learn and adapt to whatever happens.

For now just keep doing what works

 

No doubt it will change over the upcoming years. But die, I doubt it.

 

I have seen signs of traffic increase in other search engines ...For next couple of years I believe google will loose some % of its users and because of that other search will increase it.

Right now google is tightening its seo measures but google is also bound and it can not make more strict rules otherwise traffic will move to other search engines.

it has been many time seen that results are getting better and more seo work apriciated in other search engines then google so..even we have many clients who is now using all search engines for seo rather then concentrating on google and many are strongly recommending yahoo too.

Yes. One week after the Internet does. As long as there are Search Engines there will be people trying to take advantage of it.

 

I can't see search engine will be switching on other methods

 

SEO will die if all technology become wrecked and infuctional.

SEO will die if some of seo master and optimizers will die also and if the world dies.. Hahahah

 

It won't die, it will just evolve just like everything has in the past or will in the future
