    Hello guys

One of my website, which is a directory shows up on first page of Google with term internet web directory
My directory is :www. mydirectorylink. com

But when I used some tools, it says I am in in top 100 list of Google serp.
Can you please check it and see if it shows up there too.

Why those tools not showing or is it I am not in top?

    Thanks for your time

    duke

You're signed into a google service when you see your own site at the top of serps, and it's showing you personalised results.

it means if you logged in any google tool or in google it shows your site on top if this way you searching than first log out and than search then you might get perfect result...

I think some time tools not give proper result so we should focus on manualy work.

Ok, I thought it meant that, but I am not logged in any Google service and so I am obviously ranked at top with that keyword.

Anyways thanks for explaining and PaulAdman, yeah I guess some tools are not that good....

It probably depends on different google centers, you are searching in (for example) the GB centre and the tool in the USA center, and this is where the difference comes from..

I think it has already mentioned.

But it sounds to me like you are signed into your Google account when searching and are getting the new personalised search feature.

Different datacenters has been mentioned, but not been in the top 100 to been 1st is too wild a variation for different datacenters.

Another one to thrown in is you could be using a different version / region of Google. For me using Google.co.uk I get wildly different results for the same terms in Google.com
