will it be good for resale, or is it gunna be dominated by the countries respective TLD's? any input?
Personally, I don't see much future re-sale value except for the top generics. "Asia" includes everything from China to India to Australia and I can assure you that the Chinese, Indians, and Aussies do not feel "united" the way Europeans (.eu) do and will thus not lean towards a united/common domain extension and will stick to their own identities. What usually ties people of different countries together is a common/similar history which the Europeans have but the Chinese, Indians, Australians and other Asian countries do not. JMHO.
Its have resell value if your domain name is got meaning to a company that targeted asia region. Last month,i just sold my .asia domain that i purchased it during landrush for a company that agreed to pay me $20k after some negotiation session with me.
