If i send $4000+ at once to another Paypal, will Paypal Lock/Investigate/Limit my or his account?

I need to send someone this money kind of money all at once before.

I want to know is it possible? And will there be any problem with the BOTH of the accounts?

    Thanks.

Depends on receiver as well,if he has been receiving these kind of payments then i don't think there will be any issue but if its just a new account then paypal may investigate.

    Hmm,I just receive 2.5K from the buyer...No problem here..Never tired 4K+
I think there's nothing the matter with it.
You had better use premier/business account.:)

As the above people said Paypal is usually okay with large transfers of money, just as long as Paypal feels that its going to be a safe transaction from both sides. The only reason Paypal would take that money is if they knew something was horribly wrong, and when your dealing with that much cash, I don't think Paypal is going to interfere unless something just sticks out like a sore thumb.

Maybe even notify Paypal of the payment before its sent?

Well, if both PayPal accounts are all legit in terms of their TOS I think you don't need to worry anything.

But, if I were you I don't risk that much money on paypal.

If all the money you transfer to another account is legal.

None of your account will be suspended, limited, or whatever you say.

It depends on the account and your account standing.

If your account is a clean one and is verified and has been there for a while ( the same goes for him), there shouldn't be any major issue.

As long as you have supporting documents that you can fax to prove that it was a clean transaction ( even if they do investigate), you should be fine.

Yes. PayPal will definitely look at it as I have same kind of experience 2-3 times with my 5 years old PayPal account. When I got a large payments of more than 3K, they have locked my account and asked for utility bill.
But I can say one thing here that If your account is legal then you will not have any problem. Once you submit your legal utility bill, they will unlock your account within next 6-8 hours.

You should be able to send however much you want, there is just a limit on the amount of times.

I've sent in excess of $10k through PayPal multiple times. If everything is following PayPal's TOS, they will be fine with it. They expect large transactions to take place, $4k is nowhere near large.

I have been fighting with them for months to get my account back so not sure how you got through. They just keep refusing to open my account and all I was doing was selling and buying on eBay.

You take a risk when you use PayPal. Good luck with the big transfer.

No paypal will not limit your account.
I have do bigger amount than that before.
I have over $6k each time sent to my PP account by buyer.
Beside that,i also sent $10k to my supplier without any problem.
But for safety reason,i advise you upgrade your account to premier account

It would be better if you generate an invoice for the things and do keep a tracking of things. Even if it is a digital thing send one parcel like CD or something that is helpful as a proof if there is something wrong later on.
