Article Marketing Questions and Facts!

Hello Everyone,
We are a web development company and our main thing is web development, now we are wanting to learn more about "Article marketing" so we have a few questions that we would like to ask and get some answers for if you guys have time to answer them that would be great.

1. What exactly is "Article Marketing" is it just taking articles and submitting them to article submission directories?

2. How many articles should a business have to submit? Should they just have 3 or 4 articles and keep finding different directories and places to submit them to?

3. How many words should each article have ?

4. When writing articles, should your article be more for SELLING your services or just more about why people need your services?

I would really be greatful if people could help us with some of these answers.

Travis' stuff is good. You should also do a search for Tim Gorman and article marketing. Well worth your time.

 

It's a good way to get both traffic and backlinks. I usually keep my articles to 400 words, but a few sites (Isnare, for one) won't take less than 500.
