Is this grounds for iTrader

I saw a thread of a member offering service for under $5, I contacted the poster by PM.

Afterward I gave them my YIM ID by PM and ask them to contact me. Doing contact by YIM, they kept signing out and signing back in.

They were multitasking while chatting and couldn't stay on instant messenger longer enough to have a real discussion about the tasks. I finally gave up because they couldn't give me enough attention to fully chat without logging out.

No work was ever done nor private information exchanged. The member couldn't stay on instant messenger long enough.

I found a negative iTrader on my account although the work wasn't agreed upon yet by me. Doesn't all this go against DP policy for leaving an iTrader at all?

The guy couldn't stay signed in long enough to finish discussion. I finally told him that I'll find someone else since I could'nt keep his attention in the chat.

As no deal took place it was wrong for him to leave you an iTrader, but it looks like it's permanent because mods can't remove them.

There has to be a way to prevent such misuse of this otherwise great feature.

It is perfectly alright for a person to walk out of the deal..if the deal did not progress.....

You can contact a moderator, who in turn should contact an administrator.

Since the deal is below $5, that iTrader is not needed.

My main point is that its an illegal iTrader. For one thing, I read that anything advertised for $5 or less can't be used as an iTrader. Has that rule changed?

Can someone tell me how I can contact a mod about this.

I think admins and mods can't change your negative iTrader to back at zero atleast someone else will give you iTrader of positive.. my friends also received - iTrader when he didn't agree from on deal at the Link Exchange forum..

I think the rule is already change.. BTW, still try to contact the admins and mods about this issues...

How do Mods know what happened between two members?

This member said himself that the job would have been for only $4 if I would have let him do it. So this member admits that in his own handwriting and iTraders are only for over $5.
