Adsense closed my account!

    Recently Adsense closed my account and in the email they said "I posed a risk to their advertisers" and that's why they banned me. So one thing I confirm is there are no invalid clicks. What could be the problem? Here is my site pcaddons.blogspot.com. Is there any problem with my content?

    It's probably because you keep posting links on your blog to private promotions that companies do for their OWN users, such as the "Westpac Banking Corporation - Special Offer!" among other such links.

    But many people are publishing this type of content. There are some big sites which have been doing this for many years. Still they are using Adsense. I have a doubt, is using Ads above and below the Title of every post will hurt advertisers are result in closing of Adsense account?

    That's why it is not a good idea to use Adsense on sites that promote branded names. I usually stick with a rule that Adsense is for generic sites and affiliate marketing for sites promoting brands. Don't worry, sign up for some affiliate deals through CJ. Maybe start with Kasperski - they are not very picky and might accept your site right away.

    I agree with tankard. Adsense is for personal sites mostly.. if you want to try out some new stuff the best is to contact them and ask if it is OK.

    Adsense will selectively apply the "rules" however they see fit. Legit people get screwed as well as bad guys.

    All you can do is appeal, but don't expect to talk to a real person. You will only get a canned response. So basically whatever you earned is gone.

    Google has taken a lot of money from a lot of people, sometimes warranted sometimes not. They tend to do this towards payment time... that way you get to work for free. And they get to cash in.

    Not exactly the good guys their PR team would like the general public to believe.

    @Tankard
    Thanks for the info! I have signed up with CJ. Placed some Ads on my site don't know whether they work or not.
    @Omkar.dutta
    As far as I am concerned I've never clicked the Ads myself, nor I told my friends to click those Ads and I've never placed tricky titles like"Click here to win prize" etc as title to those Ads. I've read Adsense TOS too, but I cannot figure it out what's the mistake I've done.

    I sympathize with you. I was also banned one time because I didn't know any better. I clicked my own ad a few times. But with you, it must be frustrating... Well, what can you do? Life must go on.

    Regards,
    Joseph

    Google seems to like to have there name in every site just not pay for it. It's free advertisement for them. Move on to another money maker and forget about this.

    Thanks for all your reply. The closing of my Adsense account has made a huge impact on me. At first when I started blogging, my aim has been earning money, but this incident has taught me a new lesson. My aim has changed and now my aim is not to earn only money but earn hearts of people. Having a few friends will give us more satisfaction than earning money. I already found a few nice persons through my blog. They are so kind to listen to me whether I am in sorrow or in joy. I share with them whatever I think and they share with me. Hmmm, this is what it means "Suffering brings the best from you". Thank all you lovely people on this forum. Thanks a lot for your suggestions and your support. I have no hopes on Google reinstating my account and started using Affiliates. Thank you once again. I luv the people here and this forum!:)

    that is why never put all your eggs in one basket... diversify as much as possible... i was quite surprised and shocked for you to be getting a surprise disabled account with that website of urs.. seems fine to me.. is it a problem promoting free stuffs offered by big brands through blog? or maybe its because u offer download links to .exe files which might trigger some red flag on google ?? whatever it is, i feel sorry for you. the best thing for u now is to start a new niche, from scratch like you mention and get somebody you trust alot staying diff address from yours to sign up adsense again.. again i emphasize, DIVERSIFY...

    I think people have over looked a big point here
    http://pcaddons.blogspot.com/search/label/Hack

    Your showing people how to use software for free - google are over sensitive about using the word Hack anyway - but actually displaying content on how to override software licensing clearly violates the tos as im 99% sure kaspersky uses adwords to advertise there products so you are posing a threat to them particularly

    i cant see how offering links to get products for free would result in the ban especially if the manafacture of the product is offering them for free!

    Google always protect their customer. If they "suspect" (mean not yet confirm) you are providing non-qualit click, they have right to ban your account.
