As a collector, you're supposed to bid to as high as you're willing to pay for it. I think you deserve every penny and you shouldn't have to give any of it back to him. You presented the pictures to show what he was getting, it's his fault if he didn't take note of them.

Since you stated you knew nothing about the coins, he knew he could take advantage of you come time when he received the items telling you they were junk. Definitely a scammer.

I get these types of people every day with paypal...I think all of us (webmasters and the like) should just switch over to google check out and never receive another paypal transaction again. I've lost thousands b/c of paypal...yet everyone uses it so I'm forced to use it. I think I'll start forcing my users to use googlecheckout now.

I tried to list the auction in a honest way by stating that I was not a grader. I never had a mentor to show me how. I just do not understand how PayPal can justify this.

I am worried that if I do switch to AlertPay or Google Cart, that my sales will drop because they have less users.

This whole experience leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Right now I am in the process..Where the buyer has to ship everything back to get a refund.

The problem with that is...there is no way I can be sure that the guy does not "pinch the bag" so to speak.

Plus I am still out Ebay fee's unless I sell the items again...without PayPal of coarse! I would not do it being so close to Christmas, most people are buying gifts not collections.

So i wait and see if he shipped them back

I have heard a lot of issue with Paypal. They love to suspend accounts without proper reason. Maybe when everyone in the world close their Paypal account, then only they will become "user-friendly".

People, paypal will NOT side with him now, no matter how much he pesters them or explains things. The other guy sends a LOT more cash thru their system than the OP does. It is really that simple with them.

You cannot be that vapid to think that is why Paypal is working as it does....

Paypal is under US regulatory control much like any other bank in the US...

Once again, YOU need to learn the facts. PayPal is not a bank, it is NOT regulated by the Fed as a banking institution is. Several lawsuits have confirmed this, including the large class action of which I was a party in. There is NO recourse for the seller at all beyond PayPals whim. That little factoid was also confirmed in the lawsuits. All a matter of public record.

The closest PayPal even comes to "looking" like a bank is the FDIC Pass-Thru Insurance. And that is handled by REAL banks, third party, not paypal, as outlined here: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=xpt/UserAgreement/general/FDIC-outside

PayPal is just like any other unregulated corporation making business decisions. Corporations care about the bottom line.

Please learn facts before posting misinformation that serves no purpose.

There you went and did some research before posting.....very good you are learning, and you are right they are not regulated as strictly as a bank.

And in the same aspect neither are they looking at transaction history to determine who gets the money and who does not.

As for any assertions you make to being a party to a lawsuit....the last time I checked you claimed to be a lawyer in Arizona which we both know was a bold face lie.....

Good to see a rat pack member has resurfaced....

They are not regulated at all. You are simply once again posting misinformation.

You work there? If not, then do not make that assumption.

Which part of public record did you miss up there? :)

Umm no, My lawyer, Robert Jung, is in arizona.... (damn good lawyer too who doesnt cost an arm or leg, if anyone else needs a solid lawyer I highly recco him) It is not hard to get ahold of him to verify :) I suspect you have a hard time reading? Or maybe it is hearing you have a hard time with.. Seeing as he called you on my behalf once and said as i recall the guy was stuttering when I got off. Do not blame me for your pee'ing yourself when a lawyer calls you.

Aww still sore that you got banned from several forums for posting misinformation are you?

What I have said in this thread is easily verified. Let's see you verify your assumptions :)

I still have the business card you sent that you printed on your PC with the some silly ass business card software you used....

I also called the Arizona Bar to report your actions and there where I learned that you were under investigation in Florida...

And the only forum I was banned from was DP for provoking fools.....sort of like what I am doing now..... ;)

Be well and dont have a happy holiday.....tell Janeth and your butt buddy PhilC I said hi lol

Ahhh, you mean this one?: http://lawyers.justia.com/lawyer/robert-jung-683167/vcard

oh yeh, its real hard to find robert http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rlz=1T4GGIH_enUS258US258&q=robert+jung+arizona

Seeing as that was several years ago, then i must be typing this from jail. gee go figure.... You can do better than this :)

Actually as I recall, it was WPW, WMW, WWS, and DP. And it was for posting misinformation.... the same as you are doing now...... :)

But it is satisfying to see you changing the topic at hand, and not being able to verify anything you have stated as fact. Just shows a few more people the real you.

I always do Clint, my wife does not support me by working in a deli at just above min. wage :)

Correct if me I'm wrong but I do believe a bar association is nothing more than a body of lawyers.

While in some cases they are responsible for the regulation of lawyers in their jurisdiction it is not always the case.

Either way, since William, as far as I know, is not an attorney they should not be investigating him.

They are an organization and as an organization they can kick members out, which means in some cases they can no longer practice law, but I do not believe they go out and investigate U.S citizens.

But then I could be wrong.
