Ad placement review of a Smarter Self Improvement Site

Hey all, thanks for checking out this thread!

I've recently created a self improvement site aiming to be 'smarter' than the rest. Ad placement makes a impact on this since I don't want ads to ruin or distrupt any of the process involved in 'self improvement'. I.e. reading an article.

No ads would be perfect, but I also need revenue, so a compromise must be created! I think what I've currently done works, but I'm completely open to opinions and criticisms.

I think it's a fine perfect balance between monetizing the site and making sure that visitors don't get annoyed with the high number of ads :)
