You know what I mean !? When I put link in movie and upload on Youtube, I got some traffic ! Is that good traffic ? I think, that is good traffic becouse visitors realy interesting for your stuff ! he/she need to open new window and type your address to see your stuff ! That is big job for ordinary visitors ! That is proof of interestings for your site ! What you mean ?
it depends.. if ur uploading let's say "how to" video and if u have "how to" text based website, it will definitely help, some ppl like to watch whereas others like to read. i would suggest u use wordpress/blogger and embed the video, so u get twice the traffic. hope that helps
Hard to tell, I have a youtube video that has only been up for 4 months has over 18,000 views, and a 5 star rating, but it hasn't really increased my traffic. I have the website name in the video twice and a hyperlink in the description link on youtube as well. Guess it just depends what people want.
Hi Lijana. What's good depends on what your goal is. If it's only traffic that you want, then you already have it good. But it's different if you want to make money out of it. In that case, it's not good if you can't make money out of the traffic you're getting. My two cents.
Some people on Youtube (like jimmyrcom) have tens of thousands of subscribers and he just makes simple educational videos. If he did that on a blog, he wouldn't be as successful. Why? Because people rather watch a video instead of reading an essay. Everytime I need a tutorial of some sort I always hit Youtube first and then, if I don't find anything useful, I google the problem. And of course, if people enjoy your video, they will put it on their websites and you thank for it. If someone does the same with your articles, you send them a DMCA e-mail.
If people are searching for a specific video on youtube and you have just the right video available, then it is targeted and good traffic.
Is you tube traffic good or bad ??? I really don't care for the subject matter... but if anyone one of you can pay about 25 $ a month me to increase their video traffic to say 1000 views then I am here to help. Anyone Interested.
Simple answer: NO. YouTube traffic, Digg traffic, traffic from social networking sites - these all have a small sampling of people who are ready to buy something. With testing and skillful use you will be able to find ways to make money from YouTube and other of these traffic sources. YouTube isn't worthless as a traffic source. If you are very clever you may be able to come up with videos that get some sort of viral appeal going with them. Make a talking-head commercial for your product however and you will get views but unless your talking head has nice cleavage probably not a lot. Can you get sales? Depends on the offer. Watch TV info-mercials to learn the proven way to do it.
No, the traffic is crap. It can be occasionally useful if you are getting a ton of views or have niche specific content.
Start considering any traffic, it doesn't matter from where it comes, it just must come A little bit from here, a little bit from there and traffic building is done
It depends what you are sending youtube visitors to. Email Submits work the best for youtube in my opinion.
i think you tube brings in very good traffic.. .well for me i guese. For me its my best way of getting traffic
If you put some serious effort into youtube, you will be able to get some good traffic in return - but its takes time. A lot of people expect overnight success with youtube, but that is not the way it works. A few tips: Take your youtube account seriously. This means that you do NOT upload someone elses material. Do not record a show off TV and post it on youtube. The video will be deleted and you account will be banned. Post quality resolution videos. Do not use the cheapest camera you can find to record the video. Do not add copyright protected music to your video. This will get your account deleted and the video removed. Make your videos fun to watch or informative. Put your website address at the first and end of the video. Put a link to your site on the first line of the video description where it is viewable. I have been publishing videos on youtube for about 19 - 20 months. In that time I have uploaded 319 videos, which have been viewed between 2.5 - 3 million times. My videos average 10,000 - 15,000 views daily. Because of all of this, youtube sends more traffic to my site then yahoo. After you get your videos going, you can apply to become a youtube partner. If you are accepted, you can link your google adsense account to your youtube account and start making money off of your videos. Youtube can open up a whole new world to site promotion, but it takes a lot of work, time and patience.
