I have got a question, Even if the terrorist were pakistani, how did they get into Indian land? What were Indian coast guards doing?

India needs to evaluate it's home land security first before they point fingers on other countries.

As for Pakistan, the country is on the verge of self destruction. It looks like that Pakistan is more troubled by terrorism than India. Not a single week passes without an explosion. The entire north west tribal (swat and adjoining) area is in the hand and mercy of Taliban. Taliban says they are capable of taking over Pakistan. International sources doubt that taliban has major influences on Pakistani Army.

If India or US attacks on terrorist hide outs in Pakistan, I suspect taliban will escalate a civil war inside the country and try to take control. And if it happenes, Pakistan will bid good bye to newly established democracy and fall into army's hand, once again.

The scenario is not good for India or NATO...

No country can control or secure its 100% border area.
The intrusion can be compared with hackers who always look for security loopholes.

Yes, 100% border area can not be secured, but every important check point can be. You don't need to secure deserted areas, but Ports of a Mega City like Mumbai are so unsecured? Indian claim that terrorists reached Mumbai using the sea routes from Karachi, And started their operation within hours with extreme ease. That is ridiculous. What if terrorists had brought Dirty bombs with them? The Toll would have been way too higher. I can not imagine terrorists getting into Miami, or NY or LA with such ease after 9/11.

If there is anyone to blame at all, it's Indian security forces and lax of alertness. For a country that claims to be victim of terrorism for last 32 years, such lax are intolerable.
