What are best places to sell websites..Companies which give direct offers..not the individuals. What are the qualifications required for a website is it Alexa rank or backlinks?

If you have a high quality website, you'll be sure to find eager buyers

    Site #1: Sitepoint.com Forums

This particular website has a "Marketplace". Within this marketplace there are three sections where you can sell your website. The three sections are "Premium Sites for Sale", "Established Websites for Sale" and "Turnkey Sites for Sale". Your website will fall under one of these three sections. The "Premium Sites for Sale" section has a fee of $40 to list your website for sale. This section is geared towards sites with quite a bit of traffic and making a substantial amount of money each month. Just as the name says, these are "premium" websites.

The next section "Established Sites for Sale" are for sites that have been around for awhile, that are receiving traffic and earning revenue. The fee for a listing in this section is $20.

The final section "Turnkey Sites for Sale" are for ready-made websites that are not currently receiving traffic or earning revenue. It's for fully developed websites that were recently created. The fee for a listing is $10.

In almost every case you will find more qualified buyers on Sitepoint than on any other website where you can list a website for sale, so I highly recommend their service, even though you indeed have to submit a payment.

    Site #2: Digital Point Forums

The best part of Digital Point is that all listings are free. Unlike Sitepoint's Marketplace there is never a fee to place a listing. The con to this is that your listing is usually buried pretty quickly if no replies are received to your thread posting.

    Site #3: NamePros.com

This forum also has a sites for sale section. The posting is free just like Digital Point therefore you can give this site a shot as well, if you are not willing to pay for a posting on Sitepoint.

If you are starting to sell your websites then I highly recommend you take a look at the sites I mention in order to ensure you get the most out of your selling price.

    Regards

Market it as a business, rather than just a website. Here are two really great places to sell...
