Implementation of all seo techniques is not possible at one time ,so shortly when we try to make our website familiar with search engines and visitors I recommend following steps that are very important to gain search engine rankings shortly.

Here I will not mention the meta tags optimization I hope that you have already done it.So I will try to indicate some other important factor which most of seo professionals ignore at once.
1. URL Rewriting
Renaming your website page to the your keywords actually increase your ranking in the search engines results.
2. One Keyword for one page
a. It’s a good practice that we use one keyword for one page to optimize ,its not mean that you should not use multiple keywords in that page ,but I say that focus on one keyword only and as I described above rename your page to that keyword exactly.
3. Coding
i. In coding use your major keyword at first in meta description ,meta keywords and also keep that keyword in H1 tag of your website pages.
4. Original vs. Fresh Contents:
Try to write fresh contents other than original ,it a common practice in content writer/ Article writer that they search one topic and then rewrite it ,that are original contents but not fresh contents ,so please try write some extra new contents which are rarely be found on the internet.

url rewrite means what ....here am understand like this
if your main url is
http://www.domainname.co.uk

then you can rewrite with your keyword like this for (inner page)
http://www.domainname.co.uk/keyword.html

here am understand right way or am wrong....plz let me know
