I'm italian, so I want Italy to win. Italy will beat the US. I think the Americans are hugely overrated.

I say don't count out the Brazilians, just cause they didn't look sharp doesn't mean they can't turn it on when it matters.

    France, they better start scoring.

England, look really bad. Even though they've won two games they aren't looking sharp at all.

Nah, T&T played a very wide game. It's easy for any team at this level to defend that way, but T&T are also very organised. This meant we needed to play a lot of long 50 yard balls which are easily defended and often inaccurate. Our only chances in the first half were made from diagonal balls, as this was the only real way to penetrate their defence. When we brought on Lennon and Rooney though, our tactics changed and we were able to play much shorter and high paced, Lennon did great and had a massive impact upon the game, T&T at this point were broken. The only thing left to do was score, and the second goal (gerrard) shows how we're getting our form back.

Either way T&T played well, but England dominated the game, I think we deserved 3 goals :) A lot of people complain about Englands form, but we're getting better every game, remember last game we played with a striker who hasn't played for months and was missing Rooney, I'd much rather we peaked during the knockouts rather than doing an Ecuador and peaking too soon, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

I'm glad Sweden won though, as it'll give us something to play for on Tuesday, would be pretty boring knowing that we've already won the group when we play them.

Skinny, what's all this about sharpness? hehe... I agree that England haven't played their best, but a lot of teams haven't. Brazil played really badly, I think a lot of their players were lazy and they never seemed too bothered, I hope they don't win because they don't deserve it. Compare their performance to Ghana, or even the Iranians, who both played blinding games. France didn't play well at all, but I think they could easily start clicking. US did play really bad, 'textbook football'? I'm hoping they improve though, I remember we won against them in a friendly sometime last year and they played a lot better back then.

I've won about £380 since Saturady.

I'll probably lose it all at the weekend :(

In gerneral, probably no, I'm about 50/50, I only tend to be on big events. At football I'm better as I know more about the sport and the players. I've got an 80% success rate sor far at this world cup.
I know it won't last but I always try to spread any risk to minimise any potentail losses.
