I know it might be quite a simple question . However I don't know how to solve the problem . I always fix some css problems for customs . I must make the pages IE and FF compatible . I have IE6 . The question is I want to test the pages in IE6 and IE7 . Can I switch between IE6 and IE7 while testing the pages ? Where do I upgrade my IE to IE7 ? Any comments are appreciated . Thanks .
According my information , you cannnot run both IE6 & IE7 at a time . So, you won't be able to test your pages .
MS changed me to IE7 via their updates about 3 months ago, if you haven't received that then you could visit this link below to install. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx If you wish to use IE6 to test pages as well as IE7 I can suggest either using two separate computers (one with IE6 the other IE7) or swap between register settings through control panel, that is roll back to an earlier period where IE6 is present test your page then roll forward your register to your latest settings that would include your newly installed IE7 browser to test the page. Apart from that stick to firefox faster browser time and more versatile! ROOFIS
Yes, I want to run both IE6 & IE7 at a time bcoz I must test the pages and css in IE6 and IE7 . Any solution ?
A tried and true solution: http://tredosoft.com/Multiple_IE This allows me to test pages in both IE6 and IE7, together with other browsers like Firefox.
