SEO Hosting. Is this worth it or is Google smarter than them?

Just curious about seo hosting with class c ip addresses for subdomains. I'm quite new to this type of hosting, and it was something that I learned about from someone here.

I don't fully understand class c ip's, but I know that if I have say, 20 websites on a regular host, if I link them to each other (yes they are related subjects) that Google and others devalue the links. They can figure out that it's one person linking to their own sites. So, the big question I really have is, what is your experience or feelings on seo hosting? Can google see around this type of situation? I'm not sure if Google gets into the whois aspect of domains or if I make my whois private, if Google then cannot see who actually registered the name. Perhaps since Google already knows that I own these sites, that switching to a seo host won't make a difference.

Sorry, lots of questions I know. Just seeing who might share a bit more info on whether this type of host is worthwhile or not. Google is smart, I know! But can they see unique ip tricks like this as being just that, tricks?

google devaluates links that come from the same C class too so it's a waste of time and money.

I think the OP means seohosting where they offer multiple, different, c-class IPs.
