This is my SEO blog: http://gulati.info. I am starting with really simple SEO techniques and then getting more advanced. Does it look good? Are the articles well written?
Very fresh looking blog and I love the colours used to put it together. The articles are easy to read and well written and descriptive. I'd love to grab a copy of the Wordpress script if I could? I've been searching for a while to find one that would suit my website. Appreciate if you could email it to me . Keep up the good work.
Hi, im new to all this and am just trying to start a small internet business here in the UK, Could any of you guys check it out and let me know the best advertising option. My site is techogift.co. uk, Cheers guys.
no problem with content, just needs a little more sprucing up with the text formatting side (utilize bold, italics, etc. more for emphasis ). An increase in font size (just a tad) can help, too. Remember, readability is a BIG factor. Though it isn't necessary, justifying your text makes it look more pro (the even square paragraphs look good).
Great site, needs more information but i guess that will come soon. I like the menu. I think you could try to spice up the header a bit. Overall a nice site. Good job
Very clean looking blog, which is definitely a plus considering the crowded marketplace that's out there at the moment. The only real recommendation I can add is to get some more content on there - but that will of course happen over time. A good starting point to get yourself filled up on content though is to hire a freelance writer with some experience in the SEO field. Finally, it wouldn't help to add a feedburner - always good for statistic monitoring. Hope this helps - Eoghan
The design is not bad but I think you should add some negative space on the landing page to make the text more legible. I think you should get a professional logo and some graphics for the header.
It wouldn't help or it wouldn't hurt? What exactly does a feedburner feed do that my wordpress feed does not?
In long term, when you get more and more feed subscribers, feedburner will reduce your server load significantly since they will handle all feed request instead of your server
My apologies - it wouldn't hurt Statisticly speaking, it can say a lot about your site. If people see "50 registered", it can immediatly give off a positive impression about the quality of your content. And I'm sure that based on current quality (and I hope what's more to come), you'll have plenty of subscribers. Feedburner is also handy for gathering statistics, which WP's RSS cannot.
Haven't done much with Wordpress but I was looking for a Wordpress script similar to the theme/colour scheme you've use, as it close to the colours used on my site www.getfiles.com.au. I wanted to start my own blog.
I'm fine with this domain now. It is as much a personal blog as it is an seo website at the moment. That's a good idea though, maybe I'll start a more professional blog which is more geared to profit via advertisements. The theme is iNove. http://www.neoease.com/themes/ I really like it, it's clean and it displays my content well.
The site loads very slowly . As I know, your server speed is one aspect of seo score, the higher speed, the more score . Still, the right column doesn't work well in IE.
Not sure why you were having slow load times. Maybe it was a period where I was downloading updates for the server or something (definitely not a period of high traffic.) If anyone else experiences this, post here. I noticed the right column in IE, but I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. Going to soon, it's important.
