[Urgent] PayPal help

Hi,

I currently reside in India however, I am moving to the UK on Thursday. With this, my IP address will change, including everything else.

How do I go about this, without my account being limited?

I asked PayPal's automated robot 'Sarah' and she said:

However, I have $285.59 USD in my PayPal account, and I am paying hosts like Hostgator a monthly subscription fees and I am set to receive money through ad programmes etc.

This is paypal's policy and you can not do anything. The best thing would be asking one of your relatives in India to use your paypal's account and when you get a New account in UK then send over the funds to you. Or leave the funds as they are and let the money come in and when you come to India send them over to your UK's paypal.

 

Well it's not the problem of IP address but country of residence. It's ok if you access your paypal from different IP addresses as I myself do but you can't change your country.

I guess what you can do is, don't close your account for now and just ask someone on UK to create a paypal account for you there before you leave India. Then transfer some money to your UK account there and leave enough so that your subscriptions can continue for a month at least. Thus, you would have enough time to change your subscription settings and other related things! However if it's possible I advise you NOT to close your account in India and ask someone to manage it. You might need it when you come to India back and you can't of course start all over again!

3. leave india, welcome to UK
4. open new account
5. i'll move money you sended me back to your new account

Hi there,

Well its a matter for how long are you going to be in UK, if it is a holiday visit or a visit for a while, then i would suggest you to continue with the same account, as there is no problem of using different IP for your account, you can still access your account being in UK.

But if you are planning to relocate to UK, then its better that you transfer your funds to your India Bank account and close the account. Then after you've come to UK, then reopen a new account with the new details you have.

Well,you may use your this account from UK.Don't need to close your paypal account.Paypal is accepted all over the world.But,if you want to change your country on your paypal account,it will be a problem & then only comes question to close your paypal account.
