Just to clarify I've never had an account here before, maybe colleagues of mine had and I haven't asked them, but to clarify I'm not a troll and I'm posting this to complain about an action taken from the affiliate network Filinet.com I run an incentive based website and worked with Filinet for months, receiving payments regularly. The check for the month of October was sent out from Filinet but for some reason did not arrive by mail as I'm out of America (UK) and I contacted my affiliate manager who asked me to allow it some time. Last week my affiliate manager told me there have been some fraud issues with 1 advertiser however I couldn't get a file with bad leads from him, I couldn't talk to him about it, all he said is that the account would be suspended and it's out of his control. I was very upset because he also mentioned the fact no payments will be made, and the missing check by mail wouldn't be resent again, it's simply money that won't be paid to me. I am very upset about this because the commissions made with Filinet weren't only from this advertiser, and all of them basically were okay in the long run with Filinet, but they just chose to ignore emails and to not pay for the remaining balance that should be paid. There was no negotiation, nothing, simply account blocked and can't communicate with anyone. I am very upset about this and wondering what can be done to retrieve the last commissions I deserve to receive accordingly. I would like to know why this action of whipping out affiliate and taking out all his commission, including good commission, why this should become £0.00 payout to the affiliate. If you have suggestions what can be done, please help. Thank you for reading.
Could you tell us what offer this was for? I believe someone else was telling me they wanted to reverse leads on a non-incent offer, i wonder if they are just trying to make profits by randomly reversing people or if their claims are real and the Adv is trying to get over. With the weakening economy i would be cautious and prepare for more of this to happen. I have a bad feeling a few CPM/CPC/CPA networks may go down due to the current state of the economy either due to poor management or advertisers stiffing the networks.
File a suit in small claims court against Filinet, if the amount is good enough. Most likely, they will not send someone to the U.K. to argue the case. You may win by default judgement and be eligible for the missing commissions.
Hi Mike. Can I send you by PM the name of the offer? The offer allowed incentives but they say the advertiser complained on fraud, and they didn't give me any details on it, and I am pretty sure what they told me was just an excuse to keep my revenue there, because every normal network sends you a file with removed leads. I haven't had any issues with them besides it, and once again commission for other offers was taken away for no reason.
It's around $4,000 US Dollars. I don't know if it's worth all the paper work and money cost to go through this. The least they can do is to talk to me and give me extra details and to pay for the other offers that aren't related to this issue as well as send again the check that was already sent and was lost, this isn't fair they do not send it again.
They should talk to you, however, sometimes people are assholes about things. I sued NeverBlueAds in the United States small claims court for $1000 and won a default judgement. I got a check within a few weeks for the amount I was owed plus court costs.
Did you do it from abroad as well? As far as I know NBA is in Canada. Did you go physically to a court, or the whole process was easy and was done online/phone/through other company?
