Like most sports. Watching a sport is more enjoyable when you have experienced playing that sport. Cricket is pretty popular around the world. Hence, the massive TV coverage. Just wait for the Americans to get good at it!!

I have seen Lara's Match when he did over 500 Runs against England in Test match, I like Lance Clusener who has completely ignored South African Cricket Board!

 

I think the world record is 400 runs in an innings and that is by Brian Lara

No Batsman has crossed 400 till now

 

Lara scored 501 in a First class game here in England, though he does have the Test match record of 400.

 

I thought we were talking only about International Cricket.

In 1st. class, Sachin hit 514 runs so that is better

i think u r right...not only 8-10 hours, it can waste 5 days in case of est matches
also a very few countries play this
