Hi everyone. I launched this new freebie search engine called

    FreebieZoom.com

Basically it's a custom search engine that shows free stuff available on the web. It includes everything from freebie offers like cash, ipods, etc to freeware software like Wordpress, Ccleaner, etc.

We're just getting started so any useful feedback is appreciated.

Also, please list your sites in the thread. I'd like to look at your new creations too!:)

I think it's a great concept but I think your logo could be better.

Freebie search worldwide ? or just the USA ?
You need some content on the page. Best of luck with it, great idea for a website. :)

Yer it's a great idea. I hope you don't mind but I submitted my Free Stuff Website 'getfiles.com.au' to your search engine, just to test it out. It seemed to work ok. I also agree with the other posts above, the logo layout is great, just needs a little tidy up. Well done, hope it goes well for you.

Nice Idea as all said, and looks too good becuase of simple look and feel. Gr8. But one thing is there, if no items get found, then there shouldnt be two search boxes as it diplayes now. There should be message and only 1 text box for search. is it? :)

Thanks. It definitely needs a new logo. Adrian on DP does some great work.

Also, I will work on the duplicate search on the results page.

    Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I would spend a few bucks on a web2.0 type logo. I think that's where your competition is.

Everyone's feedback was really helpful. Before I launched the final design, I reached a dilemma and thought about whether I should update it manually or let the "freebie experts" do most of the lifting.

    I chose the ladder.

I purchased a brand new custom design from Adrian, plus integrated Google custom search engine.

    Why?

Either way, I was sending traffic away but I wouldn't be able to update the site daily unless I hired some personal assistants.

I decided the ultimate goal is to get free stuff in people's hand ASAP.

Please check out the updated version: Find Free Stuff
