Get the point. This thread has nothing to do with helping newbies. The only goal is promoting website of OP. Newbies can find a lot of useful tips at DP but not from such inaccurate and unprofessional posts. OP is clearly newbie himself. Good luck.

I agree that there is some promotion of Web's site, but are you an SEO expert? I don't think the post is unprofessional but I agree there are inaccuracies, so point them out and state the facts. Don't just crack on the guy because it's "nothing new" or stating "I already knew that" like some supposed SEO experts stated here on this thread.

Finally, I know there's some promotion, but did you read the threadstarters mind as far as giving out information that it isn't meant to help but only promote his/her site? Oh well, I see the cup half full and you see it half empty.

I also believe it is more important for us to correct what is incorrect in the post, rather than bash the member. Though, we can say the post seems spammy and disingenuous, we can't be sure. In the end, what is most important, is getting the right information out there.

 

wrong mate. That's not a myth. It's fact. Google + Yahoo =80%. Add msn and it's over 90%. In some countries like in mine google alone has over 90%. The rest is just a waste of time and money.

 

Usually if you optimize for Google ..then since Yahoo gets listings in much the same way and many through Google, ..then usually your site comes out good enough for other search engines like MSN etc.

It makes sense to optimize for Google since its the dominant SE that everyone uses the most.
Another interesting thing is, some of your pages wil lhave some keywords ranked in MSN and not on Google and vice versa. Better to just optimize your site and let the search engines do what they'll do with it.

On a side note, I like watching some try to step on and over peoples to try to establish that "I'm an authority and expert" crap ..so that they can try to leach DP's members and traffic. Your stance is too aggressive..and we see you tryin to snipe. (bounces one off next to (unnamed's) head) lol
