Who is the best SEO Company? - If money no object.

Hi, I'm looking to hire an expert SEO company. Was wondering if anyone could give me advice on which firms to avoid and which ones can actually deliver results? I'm willing to pay top dollar to someone who actually knows what they are doing.

I have had lousy luck hiring firms in the past. The last company charged 3K per month to post links on guestbooks.

The bottom line is that my company is in a very competitive market, and we own the #1 (and usually #2) spots in the vast majority of our search terms in google, Yahoo etc. The crew at webuildpages is very tight with the engineers at google, and their insight is priceless.

When looking for an SEO company ask for examples of their work. Also, where is their site positioned in google etc? If they can't seem to get their own company higher than page 31 on google, how can they be expected to bring your company to the top?

Webuildpages.com and/or seomoz.org - they provide some great free resources and really give back to the webmaster community + they have good rankings for themselves and their clients. If money was no object for me, I'd hire them.

 

Best thing you can do is do it yourself.

 

What keywords are you hunting?! for 3000 USD a month you may buy lot's of links by yourself... adn you my found out that "forum people" are selling PR7 backlinks at only 30-35 USD a month !

And I think that with 100 PR7 you may rank on top #30 for almoust any keyword ... (Am I wrong)?! And get at less and PR8-PR9 at the next google update

 

I'll do SEO work for your company for $1500 month to start.. noncontractual basis..

 

If you have the time, learn how to do it yourself.

SEO is far from rocket science!

Even though there are many legitimate SEO company's out there, I don't see why you should plunk 3000 dollars a month to someone, to do what you can do yourself.

Use the time you take to make that 3K every month to learn how to SEO yourself.

try seraching for the company on the google with keywords like SERACH ENGINE OPTIMIZATION (or OPTIMISATION), use different combinations, alongwith your country name etc etc. and choose the one who manage to come up on the first page.... if an seo company cant bring their own site on the number one rank (or the first page) then how can they help you to get traffic (QUALITY)... a general and MUST try test.... all the best...

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend going with a company who doesn't use correct on page optimisation on their own site, works with outdated table based designs, has no h1 or h2 tags and doesn't use valid HTML.

Perhaps use google to search for your SEO company, to show that they can get themselves high in the rankings.

A high PR does NOT mean high rankings. Google is about "relevant" backlinks, not high PR. For PR, a backlink from a PR7 page with one outgoing link passes 25X more PR than a PR7 page with 25 outgoing links because PR is divided between the number of outgoing links on a page. Most of those low price PR7 links have a lot of links on each page - which dilutes the benefit. A backlink from a PR5 page can pass more PR than a PR7 link (again, depending on the number of outgoing links).
